Ens

Ens is a quiet but rather eccentric Shimmera. In this life they are a 'researcher' of metaphysical biology, specializing in newly emerging aquatic lifeforms in Vossilor in the 4th era.

Trivia

• Ens, like many Shimmera, alter the shape of their eye brows using facial paint. Naturally they have small dot shaped eye brow markings.
• The fur coving their body is very short and velvety, their 'hair' is curly and kept short.
• They do not have visible nostrils; they breathe through the exposed patch of skin on their nose.
  • They technically do have two nostrils-like vents that briefly open in order to clear their nasal cavities (eg. blowing their nose, sneezing, etc).
• They can be drawn with or without whiskers. All Shimmera have retractable whiskers that are used as a robust metaphysical auxiliary sensory organ, Ens usually keeps them retracted unless they're actively using them (such as when they're not wearing their glasses as their whiskers allow them to see clearly without them but they have to be extra careful not to get overstimulated).
• Their sunglasses are a gift from their partner Adam and are specifically made for a humanoid face so they are typically worn on their head. They can be worn normally since they're oversized on Ens, they rest normally on the bridge of their muzzle but the arms aren't made for an anthro face so they'll need to be adjusted often. I'm not picky about how they're drawn since they're magical glasses anyways.
• Ens doesn't have exposed fingernails/fingerclaws due to a superstition imposed on to their people, they have very short claws that keep the shape of their fingertips intact but aren't long enough to be visible from the outside (unless you were to smush their fingertips back enough to expose them, kind of like cat claws). They do have short retractable claws on their feet but they rarely ever extend them.
